Michael Lopez Rama (born October 28, 1954) was a Filipino politician serving as Mayor of Cebu City since 2021, a position he previously held from 2010 to 2016. He served as the Vice Mayor of Cebu City from 2001 to 2010 and from 2019 to 2021, and was a member of the Cebu City Council from 1992 to 2001. He was elected the National President of the League of Cities of the Philippines in 2022. As per the Office of the Ombudsman, he is barred ("perpetually disqualified") from re-entering public service. ^[1]
