The Minkuotang[I] (MKT), also known as the Republican Party,[1] was a political party in the Republic of China (Taiwan).[2] The party was established on 13 March 2015 by former Kuomintang legislative representative Hsu Hsin-ying, with the founding assembly held on 18 March 2015. It was part of the Pan-Blue Coalition and then merged with the newly-formed Congress Party Alliance in 2019.
