Montedoro (Sicilian: Muntidoru) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caltanissetta in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Caltanissetta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,751 and an area of 14.1 square kilometres (5.4 sq mi).[3]
