Morgenstern (surname)

Morgenstern (German: [ˈmɔʁɡn̩ˌʃtɛʁn] ) is a German surname that is also used in Scandinavia[1] and is common among Ashkenazi Jews. It literally means "morning star"[2][3] and is sometimes anglicized as Morningstar.[4][5]
