From January 2021 until April 2022 she worked as a staff member for Brussels regional deputies Arnaud Verstraete [nl] and Juan Benjumea Moreno [nl]. In April 2022 she became an advisor to Elke Van den Brandt, minister in the Brussels-Capital Region government.

On 11 June 2022 she was elected party co-president of Groen, together with Jeremie Vaneeckhout.[2][3]
