Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre (Tagalog: [naˈdin ˈlustrɛ], English: /luːstrə/ LOOS-trə; born October 31, 1993) is a Filipino actress, singer, model, television presenter and entrepreneur. Best known for her acclaimed performances in a variety of film genres, she rose to fame for playing the lead role in Diary ng Panget (2014). Her accolades include four FAMAS Awards, a Gawad Urian Awards, five Box Office Entertainment Awards and three Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, including nominations from MTV Europe Music Awards and Asian Academy Creative Awards. Preview magazine named her one of the 50 most influential personalities in 2022.[2]
Born and raised in Quezon City, Lustre began her career as a child host in several television shows at age 8. She then played minor and guest appearances in a number of films and was eventually launched as one of the members of Viva Entertainment's Pop Girls in 2009. Her breakthrough came following her pairing with James Reid and have appeared together in a string of successful projects such as Diary ng Pangit (2014), Talk Back and You're Dead (2014), On the Wings of Love (2015), Para sa Hopeless Romantic (2015), Beauty and the Bestie (2015), This Time (2016) and Never Not Love You (2018). As a recording artist, she has released one studio album Wildest Dreams (2020) and has co-directed her music videos. Her musical work has earned her thirteen Myx Music Awards and a PMPC Star Awards for Music.
Philanthrophically, Lustre works with various charity organizations, and has centered on raising awareness about mental health and environmental sustainability.[3] She has launched her own cosmetics, Lustrous, and fragrance line, Luster. She was the first local Filipino celebrity to have a full make-up line with an international brand.[4] In 2017, she was named as the "sexiest women in the Philippines" by FHM Philippines. She was also the first Filipino ambassadress of Swedish fashion brand H&M[5] and is also one of the highest paid Filipino celebrities on Instagram.[6] Lustre's films have grossed ₱1.28 billion, making her one of the highest-grossing box office stars this century.[7]
