Nakhakshathangal (transl. Bruises of Finger Nails) is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Hariharan, written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair and starring Monisha, Vineeth, and Saleema.[1] Monisha, in her film debut, won the National Film Award for Best Actress.[2] The film was a blockbuster and is more noted for its songs. It was remade in Tamil as Pookkal Vidum Thudhu in 1987, with Monisha reprising her role.[3]
