The college was established in 2009 and is maintained by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's Medical Education Trust. It is affiliated to the Gujarat University and the Sheth L.G. hospital (Sheth Lallubhai Gordhandas Municipal Hospital, Maninagar, Ahmedabad).[1]
