Neil Smith (cricketer, born 1949)

Neil Smith (1 April 1949 – 4 March 2003) was an English first-class cricketer, who played eight First-Class matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1970 and 1971,^[1] before moving to Essex where he enjoyed a successful county career until 1981. He also played for Cheshire in the Minor Counties, appearing in occasional List A one day games for them in 1988 and 1989.
