Nichinan (日南市, Nichinan-shi) is a city in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 May 2023[update], the city had an estimated population of 47,872 in 21482 households, and a population density of 89 persons per km². [1] The total area of the city is 536.11 km2 (206.99 sq mi).
