The Northern Sun Battalion (Arabic: كتائب شمس الشمال, romanizedKatā'ib Šams aš-Šamāl) is an armed rebel group affiliated with the Free Syrian Army and part of the Syrian Democratic Forces that has been active during the Syrian Civil War.[1]
