Novohrodivka (Ukrainian: Новогродівка, IPA: [no.woˈɦrɔ.d⁽ʲ⁾iu̯.kɐ]; Russian: Новогродовка, romanized: Novogrodovka) is a city in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of Novohrodivka urban hromada. It is located 45 kilometres (28 mi) from Donetsk and seven kilometres (4.3 mi) from Selydove.[1]
The city had a pre-war population of 14,037 (2022 estimate).[2] The city has been occupied by Russian forces since 28 August 2024.[3]
