Ooredoo Oman (formerly Nawras) is an Omani telecommunications company owned by Ooredoo (formerly the Qtel Group). It is the Sultanate's first privately owned telecommunications company and had a consolidated global customer base of more than 58 million customers as of 31 December 2023. [1]It sells voice and data services over, among others, 2.75G, 3G+, 4G, 5G and Fiber. Since 2010, it has been listed at the Muscat Securities Market,[2] and is the fourth largest telecom company by market capitalisation.[citation needed]
