Otradnensky District (Russian: Отра́дненский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Otradnensky Municipal District.[3] It is located in the southeast of the krai. The area of the district is 2,452 square kilometers (947 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Otradnaya.[1] Population: 64,862 (2010 Census);[2] 66,734 (2002 Census);[5] 63,803 (1989 Soviet census).[6] The population of Otradnaya accounts for 35.8% of the district's total population.[2]
