Overisel Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,113 at the 2020 census.[3]
Overisel was named after the Dutch province of Overijssel.[4] Overisel is the birthplace of mathematician George David Birkhoff, best known for what is now called the ergodic theorem.
