P. Jayarajan (born 27 November 1952) is a member[2] of the CPI(M) Kerala state committee and former member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly who represented Koothuparamba constituency from 2001 to 2011.[3][4][5][6] He served as the secretary of CPI(M) Kannur District Committee from 2010 until he was replaced by M.V. Jayarajan in March 2019.[7][8] In March 2019 he was named the LDF candidate from Vatakara for the 2019 Indian General Elections.[9]
