Paninsky District (Russian: Па́нинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,398 square kilometers (540 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Panino.[1] Population: 24,236 (2021 Census);[6] 29,231 (2010 Census);[2] 33,017 (2002 Census);[7] 36,143 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Panino accounts for 24.7% of the district's total population.[6]
