Patrick Reginald Dennis Hayford[1] (born 7 August 1950)[2] is a Ghanaian retired diplomat, international affairs director and administrator.[3][4][5][6] Hayford served for 40 years as a diplomat in the Ghana Foreign Service including serving as Ghana's Ambassador to South Africa.[7][6] He also served as the Director of African Affairs in the Executive Office of United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Kofi Annan.[8][9][7]
