Paul Frederick Sharp (January 19, 1918 – February 19, 2009)[1] was a professor and college administrator. He served as the 15th president of Hiram College from 1957 to 1964, the 3rd chancellor of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill from 1964 to 1965, the president of Drake University, and the 9th president of the University of Oklahoma from 1971 to 1977.[2] Before his stint as a college administrator, Sharp was a professor of history at Iowa State University and the University of Wisconsin, Madison.[1]
