Pavlos Bakoyannis (Greek: Παύλος Μπακογιάννης; February 10, 1935[1][2] in Velota, Evrytania – September 26, 1989 in Athens) was a liberal Greek politician who was well known for his broadcasts against the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 on Bayerischer Rundfunk radio.
On September 26, 1989, Bakoyannis was assassinated by members of the Greek terrorist group 17 November. He was 54 years old.
