Penzhinsky District (Russian: Пе́нжинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion) of Koryak Okrug in Kamchatka Krai, Russia, one of the eleven in the krai. It is located in the northwest of the krai. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kamenskoye.[1] Population: 2,340 (2010 Census);[3] 2,990 (2002 Census);[6] 5,301 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Kamenskoye accounts for 28.0% of the district's total population.[3]
