Perrottetia aquilonaris is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Streptaxidae.[2]

The specific name aquilonaris is from the Latin “aquilonaris” meaning “north or northern”. It refers to the distribution range of this new species in northern Thailand.[1]
