Urs Peter Bally (10 February 1783 - 23 November 1849) was a Swiss businessman, silk ribbon manufacturer, and politician who was primarily active in Schönenwerd, Switzerland. He served on the Grand Council of Solothurn from 1830 to 1848. He was the father of Carl Franz Bally, who founded the Bally (fashion house), in 1851.[1]
