Philip David Radford (born January 2, 1976) is an American environmental leader serving as Chief Strategy Officer of the Sierra Club,[3] [4] and who served as the executive director of Greenpeace USA.[5] He was the founder and President of Progressive Power Lab,[6] an organization that incubates companies and non-profits that build capacity for progressive organizations,[7] including a donor advisory organization[8] Champion.us,[9] the Progressive Multiplier Fund[10] and Membership Drive.[11] Radford is a co-founder of the Democracy Initiative, was founder and executive director of Power Shift, and is a board member of the Mertz Gilmore Foundation.[12] He has a background in grassroots organizing, corporate social responsibility,[13] climate change, and clean energy.[14]
