Philoetius (/fɪˈlʃiəs/; Ancient Greek: Φιλοίτιος, romanizedPhiloítios) is a character in Greek mythology who plays a significant role in Homer's Odyssey, aiding Odysseus, Telemachus, and Eumaeus in their slaughter of the suitors of Penelope.
