During callbacks two weeks later, Ms. McGinley heard six actresses read for the important ingenue role of Raina. 'And one shone,' Ms. McGinley said with glee. 'Every time I've seen this play, it's been obvious that Raina, who is supposed to be 23 but passes for 17, is well past 25. It never made a lot of sense to me.' Then Piper Lisa Perabo walked in. 'She is a sophomore at Ohio State University who lives in Toms River, and she looks 17,' Ms. McGinley said.
