The plain-winged antshrike (Thamnophilus schistaceus), sometimes called the black-capped antshrike[2], is a species of bird in subfamily Thamnophilinae of family Thamnophilidae, the "typical antbirds". It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.[3]
