"Play" (Chinese: 我呸; pinyin: Wǒ pēi) is a song by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai, recorded for her thirteenth studio album, Play (2014). The song was composed by Nese Ni (倪子岡), written by Katie Lee (Hsia Yu) and produced by Starr Chen (陳星翰).[1] The song was released on October 27, 2014, as the first single from the album "Play" by Warner Music Taiwan and Eternal Music Production (凌時差音樂).[2] The song and its music video were shortlisted for Best Song of the Year and Best Music Video at the 26th Golden Melody Awards, Nese Ni and Starr Chen were shortlisted for Best Arranger for the song, and Starr Chen was shortlisted for Best Single Producer for the song.[3]
