Polar is a town in Langlade County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 984 at the 2010 census.[3] The town of Polar established a post office in 1882, until it was discontinued in 1887. In 1897, the town restored the post office, but it was eventually permanently discontinued in 1967. [5]
