The Police (Scotland) Act 1956 (4 & 5 Eliz. 2. c. 26) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
The whole Act, except section 37, was repealed by section 52(1) of, and Part I of the Schedule 5 to, the Police (Scotland) Act 1967. Section 37 was repealed by Part II of Schedule 5 to the Police (Scotland) Act 1967.
- ^ The citation of this Act by this short title was authorised by section 41(1) of this Act. Due to the repeal of this Act, it is now authorised by section 19(2) of the Interpretation Act 1978.
