Pospelikhinsky District (Russian: Поспе́лихинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the southern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 2,423 square kilometers (936 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Pospelikha.[1] Population: 24,788 (2010 Census);[3] 28,065 (2002 Census);[6] 28,560 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Pospelikha accounts for 50.4% of the district's total population.[3]
