Quimper (US: /kæ̃ˈpɛər/,[3] French: [kɛ̃pɛʁ] ; Breton: Kemper [ˈkẽmpəʁ]; Latin: Civitas Aquilonia or Corisopitum) is a commune and prefecture of the Finistère department of Brittany in northwestern France.
