Raheen (Irish: An Ráithín, meaning 'small ringfort') is a large suburb of Limerick, Ireland. Initially developed to ease population overspill from the city of Limerick, Raheen is socioeconomically diverse, ranging from older, poor-class housing estates to relatively affluent areas.^{[original research?]}
