Rangkasbitung (Sundanese: ᮛᮀᮊᮞ᮪ᮘᮤᮒᮥᮀ) (colloquially called Rangkas) is a town (serving as the administrative centre of Lebak Regency) and an administrative district (kecamatan), in Banten Province of Java, Indonesia. The district covers an area of 73.76 km2, and had a population of 116,659 at the 2010 Census[2] and 134,945 at the 2020 Census,[3] while the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 144,733, comprising 73,678 males and 71,055 females.[1]
It is the site of the Multatuli Museum, a history museum that opened in 2018.
