Mzameni Richard Mdakane (born 1 January 1955) is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly since March 2023 and previously from 2009 until 2019, when he failed to gain re-election. Before that, he represented the party in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for fifteen years from 1994 to 2009; he also served a term as Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2004 to 2009.
