Robert Forbes Woodward (October 1, 1908 – May 18, 2001) was an American diplomat who focused on U.S. relations with Latin America. He served as United States Ambassador to Puerto Rico from 1954 to 1958, Ambassador to Uruguay from 1958 to 1961, and Ambassador to Chile in 1961.[1]
