Robert Hale (November 29, 1889 – November 30, 1976) was a U.S. Representative from Maine, and first cousin of U.S. Senator Frederick Hale, also of Maine. A conservative, internationalist,[1] and self-described reactionary,[2] he was known for his unwavering advocacy of civil rights and opposition against the Ku Klux Klan.
