Roscoe L. Egger Jr.

Roscoe Lynn Egger Jr. (September 19, 1920 – October 14, 1999) served as Commissioner of Internal Revenue from 1981 to 1986 and received the Tax Executive Institute's Distinguished Service Award in 1986.[1] He led the Internal Revenue Service through a tumultuous time in its history and pushed for numerous reforms in order to modernize the tax service.
