Roy Merrill Speer Jr.[1] (June 23, 1932 – August 21, 2012) was an American attorney, and entrepreneur. He was also the former CEO, co-founder and chairman of the Home Shopping Network.[2][3]
The jury ruled that Home Shopping should pay $20 million of the damages and that its chairman, Roy M. Speer, and its president, Lowell W. Paxson, were personally responsible for paying $40 million each.
