Ryan Jefforey Mathews (born October 10, 1987) is an American former professional football running back. He played college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs, earning second-team All-American honors in 2009. Mathews was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the first round, 12th overall, in the 2010 NFL draft. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2011. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles.
