Safiabad (Persian: صفیآباد)[a] is a city in the Central District of Bam and Safiabad County, North Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] It formerly served as the administrative center for Safiabad Rural District,[5] until its capital was transferred to the village of Alast-e Olya.[4]
