Safiyyah bint Abd al-Muttalib (Arabic: صفية بنت عبدالمطلب, romanizedṢafīyya bint ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib; c. 567/569–640; 53 BH to 18 AH)[1] was a companion and aunt of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
