Safwat Ghayur (14 July 1959 – 4 August 2010) was an additional Inspector General of the Police Service of Pakistan, serving as the commandant of the Frontier Constabulary in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1] Renowned for his leadership in the fight against terrorism, he was tragically killed in a suicide attack by the Pakistani Taliban.
