The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is an 8-inch Android-based tablet computer produced and marketed by Samsung Electronics.[5] It belongs to the second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Note series tablets, which also includes a 10.1-inch model, the Galaxy Note 10.1. It was first sold in the US in April 2013. Like the larger model, it uses both touch and Samsung's S-Pen stylus. It is Samsung's first 8-inch tablet, and was followed later by a lower-end sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0.
