Sergei Leonidovich Rubinstein (Russian: Сергей Леонидович Рубинштейн; 18 June [O.S. 6 June] 1889 – 11 January 1960) was a Soviet psychologist and philosopher and one of the founders of the Marxist tradition in Soviet psychology.[1] The pioneer of distinct tradition of "activity approach" in Soviet and, subsequently, international psychology.
