Sergio Rossetti Morosini (born 1953) is a Contemporary Brazilian-American scholar,[3][4] artist and author of Venetian extraction[5] who served as Brazil's Cultural attaché in New Orleans and is also dedicated to preserving the Atlantic Forest and restoring the art in stone of New York City Landmarks.[6]
- ^ On December 15, 1975, Sergio was Commissioned by the Senate as an Honorary Senator of the State of Louisiana for his services of furthering the cultural and trade relations between Brazil and the United States during his tenure as a Cultural Attaché at the Consulate General of Brazil in that City, and for his initiative and diligence in demonstrating, due to the Oil Embargo, the advantages and mutual benefits of concentrating the bulk of the Southern Hemisphere's import-export trade through the Port of New Orleans, which, ultimately, was achieved by revamping the Port and by uniting Latin America around that goal.
