Sewanee (/səˈwɑːni/)[5] is a census-designated place (CDP) in Franklin County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 2,535 at the 2020 census.[6] It is part of the Winchester, Tennessee Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Sewanee is best known as the home of The University of the South, commonly known as "Sewanee".
