Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University (SBS State University), previously known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology, is a state university located in Ferozepur, Punjab. The institution was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995.^[1] It is fully supported by the Punjab Government and is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.^[2] In 2021, the institute was granted university status and renamed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University by Punjab Act No. 10 of 2021.^[3]
