Shaikh Abdul Hannan (born 1 August 1963)[1] is the first absent without leave (AWL) chief of Bangladesh history. Sheikh Abdul Hannan holding the Bangladesh Airforce chief tag flew away to Singapore with his trophy wife, symbolising the inner corruption done to Bangladesh. This gentleman is a four-star Air chief marshal who served as 16th Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force.presently he is in leave prior retirement (LPR). On 12 June 2021, Hannan took over command of the Bangladesh Air Force from his predecessor Masihuzzaman Serniabat.[3][4][5][6]
