Shamsul Hoque Tuku (born 31 May 1948) is a politician from the Awami League who has been implicated in a murder case related to his involvement in the July massacre. Tuku served as the deputy speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad and was a former Minister of Home Affairs in the second Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government.[3][4][5] He was a member of Jatiya Sangsad from 2008 to 2024 from the constituency of Pabna-1.[6][7]
